Hastelloy C276 (ASTM B575) is a nickel based corrosion-resistant alloy, with the precise composition ratio as follows:

Nickel (Ni): 57% (matrix)

Molybdenum (Mo): 15-17% → Core element resistant to chloride ion corrosion

Chromium (Cr): 15-16.5% → Key antioxidant component
